Marrel Skip Bin

A marrel skip bin is a most widely used bin that comes in different sizes. They range from 1 cubic meters to 16 cubic meters. Marrel bins can be transported from site to site using the skip truck. Above all, these bins are made from strong steel. Therefore, they are excellent to withhold heavy rubbish. The bin gets lifted onto and off the skip truck using a hydraulic bin lifter.

Marrel bins are generally smaller than their hook counterparts. They are chain-lifted onto the back of a skip truck. Chains are attached to the bin, then bin is lifted and lowered onto a skip truck. These are more suitable for the average household as they are small enough to be placed on driveways and come on smaller trucks for easier access.

Some marrel bins come with an open ramp on one end for easy loading access. You can open the ramp door by unlocking the latch and lifting it up. Ramp door is great for wheelbarrow access. It’s easier for people to unload heavy rubbish such as soil, bricks, and concrete. The smaller bins usually have no open ramp gate. Hook Lift Skip Bin

A Hook lift is a heavy-duty collection and transportation used for grabbing and lifting loads by means of a device such as a hoist or a crane. They are utilised for various purposes. In waste management, hook lifts are trucks with mounted hydraulic hoists that contain skip bins designed to transport materials such as simple wastes, demolition and industry wastes, scrap materials, and other recyclable materials.

Hook bins are lifted onto big hook trucks by a hook arm that pulls the bin onto the truck. They are generally bigger in size compared to the marrel bins and are mostly used for volume-based light waste. These are mainly used by the building and construction industry as they have the room to accept these large bins and produce large amounts of waste. Hook Lifts range in size from 2m3 to 35m3.

Hook Bins (6 cubic metres onwards) also have a feature of walk-in doors for easy convenience.
Mobile Skip

Mobile skip bin is a large container for rubbish mounted on wheels so that it can be moved more easily. Recently, this has been the most preferred option especially by households. The mobile variety is a Skip Bin on a Trailer. Mobile skip bins come with wheels and equipped with an axle, while the larger models have two shafts. They generally comes in sizes from 2 cubic metre to 8 cubic metre.

All Mobile Bins come with lockable lids, preventing others from placing waste in it. Unlike the conventional skip bins that are placed on the top of the track, the mobile skip bins are towed through the standard A-Frame.
